Event info:
The 5Km features the Big Thompson Riverwalk and Historic Estes Park. This route has many shops to visit and places to eat – so go at your leisure. The 10 Km circles Lake Estes with spectacular views of Rocky Mountain National Park, and includes the Riverwalk and unique downtown. Both routes, rated 2A, are on streets, sidewalks, and paved trail, and are fairly flat with one gradual hill on the way around the lake. Jogging strollers can complete both trails with difficulty. Wheelchairs are recommended on the 5 Km only. Leashed pets are welcome, but may not be allowed in the Bird Sanctuary and near the golf course during elk calving season in the Spring. Elevation: 7522 ft. County: Larimer. |
