Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Start/Finish times:  Summer, 8:00 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Winter, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Starting point:  Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 324 Beckers Ln, Manitou Springs, CO Directions:  From I-25, take exit 141 (Highway 24 West), and proceed west.  Exit at the "Highway 24 Business Route, Manitou Avenue" sign and turn left (east) onto Manitou Ave.  At the first traffic light (Beckers Ln.), turn north (left) and continue to the Trading Post.  During the summer, you can ride the trolley from Manitou Springs to the Trading Post, for a small fee. Special Instructions:  Event info:  Bring your walking sticks and enjoy walking through the Garden of the Gods.  The dirt trail is rated a 3C, because of some hills and the altitude (6,412 ft).  Route is on dirt trails through spectacular rock formations.  Bring your cameras.  Strollers and wheelchairs can complete portions of the trails (especially in the central garden area), but not the entire 5/11Km.  Leashed pets only!  Restrooms are available at the start/finish.  The Registration box is located on the floor about 20 steps straight ahead after entering the Trading Post.  County:  El Paso.    * Functionally disadvantaged trail is rated a 2B, due to slight incline and the altitude.
