Event info:
Both routes feature the Big Thompson Riverwalk and Historic Estes Park. There are many shops to visit and places to eat, so go at your leisure. The 10 km also circles Lake Estes with spectacular views of Longs Peak and the Great Divide. Both routes, rated 1A, are on sidewalks and multiuse trails, and are fairly flat with two gradual hills on the way around the lake. Jogging strollers are recommended around the lake only. Wheelchairs will need to use care downtown. Leashed pets are welcome, but may not be allowed in the Bird Sanctuary and near the golf course during elk calving season in the Spring. The trail is plowed, but there may be some ice and snow during winter. Elevation: 7522 ft. County: Larimer. |
